Burley High School and Burley Junior High proudly present the joint concert of their respective choir ensembles, directed by Mr. “Dusty” Fisher.
Director: Mr. D. “Dusty” Fisher
Mr. Fisher has been an frequent face at Burley High School since 2011. He began as a substitute, working primarily in the Drama department and directing several productions in the absence of the, then, full-time director. He took over the Band program full-time in 2013, following the retirement of Mr. Steve Floyd. Soon after, he was appointed Director of Choirs, as well as director of the King Fine Arts Center.
Mr. Fisher now directs several vocal ensembles at Burley High School, as well as at Burley Junior High – in association with Dr. Paul Pugh. His newest high school ensemble Bella Voce has become one of the premier vocal groups of the Magic Valley. Mr. Fisher has a Master’s Degree in Conducting from Eastman School of Music.
