The King Fine Arts Center (KFAC) at Burley High School will host a concert featuring David Archuleta, November 27, 2021 in the KFAC Concert Hall at 7:30 pm. This is the hopeful beginning of the KFAC hosting larger name performers.
David Archuleta is a name and performer familiar to many in Cassia County. Archuleta soared to stardom in 2008 at just 16 years old as a runner-up on the popular American Idol television show.
His first single, “Crush,” landed at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, selling more than two million copies worldwide.
Archuleta, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, made a holiday album with the Tabernacle Choir before putting his career in hiatus to complete a two-year mission in Santiago, Chile.
David returned to his musical career in 2014 and successfully released his music under his own label, Archie Music. His most recent album, “Therapy Sessions,” is considered his most “vulnerable,” as it “narrates [his] lifelong struggle with mental health.” (Quotes were taken from a press release out of Archuleta’s publicity camp.)
Tickets for the November 27 concert are on sale now through Event Master. Cost of seats range from $35-$50. Tickets can be purchased through a link located on kingfineartscenter.com where purchasers can also choose their seats. The doors will open at 6:30 PM.
